Price Canyon Trail [utahtrailhead.com]

SUMMARY

Beginning at the Price Canyon Recreation Area, this scenic trail climbs to the top of the canyon and provides amazing views of the neighboring Bookcliff Mountains.  The Price Canyon Trail is a kid friendly out-and-back trail that is rated at “easy” with an elevation gain of roughly 700 feet.

To get to the “Price Canyon Trail” trailhead, from Price Utah, you must take US-6 westbound through Helper.  Drive another 16.75 miles and turn left at mile marker 224.4 onto a narrow, paved road marked with a large wooden sign (there is no left turn lane; drive cautiously).  Follow this road up the steep and windy grade 3.1 miles to the south until it forks.  Take the right fork and head into the group camping area.  The trail head begins near the flag pole and is approximately 1.75 miles to the top.
